Facial Redness, Teleangiectagie
Facial Redness, Teleangiectagie
Facial Redness is typically a result of dilation of capillaries (tiny blood vessels).? As blood flow increase, hemoglobin (the red pigment inside the blood cells) become visible through the skin and appears as red and flushed.
The cause of vessel dilation varies from hormone imbalance, internal diseases, skin atrophy, genetic (family history?), and to autonomic nerve dysfunction. Patients who often suffer from acne, dermatitis and other skin trouble tend to display flushness or redness triggered by inflammation and other stimulant factors more often.
Blood vessels help to regulate internal body temperature by dilating and contracting the vessels to control the blood flow.
Facial redness or Teleangiectagie is most common among people with light and thin skin complexion and with sensitive skin.
Treatment option may vary depending on the cause of the redness. Oral, Topical, Photofacial, and Vbeam laser are available.
