What is Photofacial ?

Photofacial is a treatment approved by the United States Food and Drug Adiministration (USFDA).

Photofacial is a full-face photo rejuvenation treatment that uses intense pulsed light. A high success rate in the treatment of pigmentation, aging spots, and broken capillaries, acne, acne scar is obtained. It stimulates collagen production and improves skin's elasticity, fine wrinkles, texture, and large pores. There is no down time and you can wear make up immediately.

Our Photofacial is equipped with 3 types of cut filters. Depends on each patientfs problem, the filters are chosen and they have a greater effect especially on redness, pigmentation, and collagen production. Photopfacial is irradiated with suitable wavelength for each skin type to achieve the most efficient result.

How does it work ?

This light is defferent from that of a laser. It has a broad spectrum, yet does not emit ultra-violet (UV) rays, and is absorbed by melanin, hemoglobin, and fibroblastic cells. When the light is absorbed by melanin, the spot becomes darker temporarily but will gradually disappear. When absorbed by hemoglobin, teleangiectagie will gradually be less pronounced. when absorbed by fibroblastic cells, they produce neocollagen, which improves the skin's laxity, fine wrinkles, and texture, large pores.
