Mechanism of stimulating collagen and elastin formation

The threads are placed in the skin. This activates a natural wound-healing effect that stimulates the growth of collagen and elastin surrounding them, forming a “collagen tunnel” within. The threads are biodegradable, dissolving completely in 8-18 months. The collagen continues to increase even after the threads have dissolved, ensuring a long-lasting effect.

Treatment Process

1. Counseling

Our doctor will assess your symptoms and provide consultation regarding the most appropriate procedure. Please feel free to ask questions regarding anything you are unsure of or may be concerned about.

2. Marking and Anesthesia

The areas for treatment are decided and marked. A local anesthesia is applied.

3. Procedure

The actual procedure lasts approximately 30 minutes.

4. After Procedure

Medication is applied where threads have been inserted. Make-up can be applied immediately after the procedure.

Hospital visit	No need
Make-up	Make-up can be applied on the same day, right after the procedure.
Normal activity	Face can be washed on the same day the procedure is done. Bathing is possible the day after procedure. Please refrain from using a sauna, drinking alcohol and strenuous exercise.
Swelling and redness	Pain, edema, swelling and bruising may occur after the procedure. These will gradually fade.
